This is a letter written to a blogger on one of the blogs I follow. I'm not sure exactly what I think of it, and I believe a majority of it will be difficult to prove, if it can be proved at all. Most of it is intimidating, and all of it is an attempt to scare the American public into action. The question is, should we allow ourselves to be scared into action. I'm not sure whether to laugh at this or not, it's certainly written with a sense for the dramatic. But still, let me know what you think. Here's the letter:

To my Friends & Associates:
Last Monday was a profound evening, hearing Dr. Charles Krauthammer speak to the Center for the American Experiment. He is brilliant intellectual, seasoned & articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults. He is NOT a fearmonger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a fiscal conservative, and has a Pulitzer prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have shared this with many of you and several have asked me to summarize his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally. Even 2 Democrats at my table agreed with everything he said!

1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a ‘cool customer’ who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's ‘behind the mask’. Taking down the Clinton dynasty from a political neophyte was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.

2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!

3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can’t be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to ‘level the playing field’ with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada.

4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, & NATIONAL HEALTHCARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The cap and trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his healthcare program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada. God forbid.

5. He’s surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they’re going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can’t work in the long run. Obama’s not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.

6. Obama doesn’t really see himself as President of the United States, but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!

7. He’s now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not ‘come due’ until after he’s reelected in 2012. He’d like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Mr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.

8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. We’re ‘pining’ for another Reagan, but there’ll never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindahl (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she’s to be a serious candidate in the future. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and states’ rights.

9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We’re spending trillions that we don’t have. This could lead to hyper inflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn’t work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama’s allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.

10. The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of ‘change’ caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising is was as close as it was.

11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it’ll be a dogfight. It’ll all be about the economy.

I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There’s a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we’re right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.

What do you think? Should we heed this warning, or is this some pathetic attempt to scare the American people? Is this truth, or is this a ploy to freak out the conservatives in America?

H.J.Res.5

If you don't know what H.J.Res.5 is, head over to AmeriKad: What??

Basically, this Bill would repeal the 22nd Ammendment and allow the President to be President for as many terms as the American people would elect him for.

Not good. Who really wants to be stuck with President Obama for more than even one term? I mean, let's be realistic. This bill is the only thing that stands in the way of Obama making America a totalitarian/socialist state. We can't allow this to pass.

We need to let our congressmen know that to pass this bill would go against the will of Americans, and would be a direct attack against American principles.

Our country has this ammendment for a reason, and I see no need to change it now.

What do you think?

"The One" a Commentary of Current Events

A Pastor's wife's letter. How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor's wife in Biblical prose as a commentary of current events. It is Brilliant. ~~~~~~~~~~

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America, having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One".

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you. My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change.

Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed." And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed.

And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!" And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!"

Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!" "And redistribute their wealth." And the people said, "Show us the money!"
And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"

And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me? You're going to steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??" And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.

One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?" And she was banished from the kingdom!

Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?" And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes." And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes." So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!" And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed. And He said, "I shall mandate employer-funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage. And I shall give every person unlimited healthcare and medicine and transportation to the clinics." And the people said, "Give me some of that!"

Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas." And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!" And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates." So "The One" said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles are over!"

Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing..." And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff.
The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!"

But our foreign trading partners said unto Him, "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..." And the people said, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!" And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you shall play by our rules!"

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?" But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon "The One" and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung. And the once mighty nation was no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope.

And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built. And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!" But it was too late, and their homeland was no more.

You may think this is a fairy tale, but it's not.
It's happening RIGHT NOW!!!

What do you think? I think it's scary as hell. And absolutely true.

Since when do we follow Russia?

Not sure what an American Czar is? Head over to AmeriKad: What?? and find out.
I don't know about you, but America has never (and should never) follow in the steps of Russia. What is this we're hearing about American Czars??? The very idea that Obama can create a position with so much control, power, and leverage, that answers to no one but him is ridiculous. And scary.
America doesn't need more government influence. The government didn't do much to prevent this economic slump from happening, and hasn't done much to make it better. What we need is a grassroots movement created by the people to help bolster the local economy. Economic recovery isn't going to come from the federal government, it's going to come from local movements, local governments. The federal government needs to take a step back and let the people who know best take over.
America has never had, and never will have a "ruler" or a "czar" for anything. Czar implies tyrant, ruler, monarch. We don't need a monarch. We don't need someone to tell us that the economy sucks. We don't need someone to force us to buy veggies, and punish us for buying junk food by raising the taxes on chips and candy. We don't need a czar who forces Detroit to produce more green cars, which results in the company failing because no one wants to spend the extra 6 grand for a smaller car.
What we need the federal government to do, is support local governments in their recovery efforts, and stop treating us like mindless consumers. And for once, tell the truth, don't skirt around the issue with fancy talk and large words. I can beef up my vocabulary just as easily, but it still means the same thing, and in the case of the Obama administration, all that's coming out of their mouths is baby talk. Let's get some real answers and real solutions.
What's your opinion? I'd love to hear from you!

Too much power???

If you don't know much about the Federal Reserve, head over to AmeriKad: What?? and get all the details.

So let's talk about the Federal Reserve. Obama has decided that the Federal Reserve needs even more power than it already has. Two problems with this; it circumvents our system of checks and balances, and it concentrates too much power in the hands of an organization which has already proven to be irresponsible.

Checks and balances. Our founding fathers had the forethought to include this system as a deterrent to totalitarianism, monarchy, tyranny, communism, socialism, fascism, etc. Why would we want to make obsolete something that not only works, but also keeps us safe?

As it relates to the Federal Reserve, the Obama administration is suggesting that we give the Federal Reserve increased legal powers. Problem one with this, is that the Federal Reserve would answer only to the President in regards to these new powers. Also, these new powers give the Federal Reserve major influence in every major industry in America. Automotive, consumer goods, health care, banking, and more. Our Constitution is written in such a way that it prevents the federal government from having too much power over private businesses. GM, and General Electric are large businesses that would now be under the control of the federal government. Our founding fathers created a capitalistic society for a reason, and specifically stated that the government should have no more control/power/input over the people as is absolutely necessary for civilized society. They said this for a reason.

And finally number two, the Federal Reserve is in charge of the federal government's monetary and economic policy. They give suggestions to Congress and to the President regarding what needs to be down to keep the economy intact. Clearly, given the current economic slump, the Federal Reserve cannot live up to this responsibility. Let's just take a step back, and instead of giving the gov't more power, let's take some power away. My bet, is that the sooner we shrink the government's influence, the sooner our economy will heal.

What's your opinion? Post now!

Let's Talk About Acorn

If you don't know what Acorn is, our you don't know what the issue surrounding Acorn is, visit AmeriKad: What??.

There is only so much we can say about Acorn. To me, it is obvious that President Obama is slowing down the voter fraud investigation on purpose. He has political and personal ties to the organization, and it would look bad for him and for his administration if Acorn proved to ce as corrupt as we think it is.

I'm not going to say that Obama wouldn't have become president without Acorn, because there really isn't enough verifiable evidence to give an educated opinion about. However, I will say that if continues to be proven that Acorn purposefully and knowingly committed voter fraud, then its safe to say that the whole of the Obama administration will be under even more scrutiny.

Quite honestly, I'm surprised congress has allowed this to get as far as it has. We've known for quite some time now that Acorn may be responsible for voter fraud, and yet where are the developments in the investigation. We haven't heard any conclusive evidence, nor have we been given any reason to believe that the Obama administration is planning on continuing to investigate to the fullest extent of the law. If this was Bush postponing an investigation, the media and the people would be all over this. But no, the ominicient Obama is too perfect to critize. Sorry, but I'm not buying it.

The Obama has been talking alot about transparency. I say it's time we get some. Have they ever heard the saying "actions speak louder than words"? It appears not. Lets finish this investigation, and lets release the results to the people.

Although this seems just too much for Congress to handle. They're too busy attending Acorn's 39th Anniversary Party.

Enough is enough guys. As American citizens, we need to demand that our government take the legal steps necessary to indict Acorn, to stop funding them, and to prevent them from ever committing voter fraud again.

What do you think? Post your opinions, and let me know.

The Letter

So in the place of an original blog today, here is the letter that was sent to Glenn Beck, and which I am in total agreement with. Let's see what you make of it.

An Open Letter to our Nation's Leadership:

I. Illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

II. TARP. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

III. Czars. I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

IV. Cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

V. Universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

VI. Growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

VII. ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

VIII. Redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? What do you have against shareholders making a profit?

IX. Charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

X. Corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

XI. Transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

XII. Unprecedented spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people.

Okay guys, what do you think?

No Duty to Retreat

Todays question: What does it mean to be an American?

It's a difficult question to answer. Many people will tell you an American is someone who lives in the America's. Some will say that an American is a citizen of the United States of America. And still others will say that to an American is someone who is a castaway from their home country, and has nowhere else to go but America. For me, none of these answers statisfy. I believe that being an American means a lot more than where you were born, where you live, or where your family comes from.

An interesting phrase that came up in my research, and dates back to the early 1800's, has helped me to define what it means to be an American. The phrase is "No Duty to Retreat." Originally this phrase came from a British slang legal term ("Duty to Retreat"). In England, it meant that a man could only legally defend himself from an attack if he had exhausted all other means of evading his attacker. American settlers in the Wild West coined the phrase "No Duty to Retreat" during the Westward Expansion to help define common sentiment, and to represent accepted ideology.

In the American West, this phrase was generally used in the cattle towns where violence was common, and local law enforcement needed some way of defending the towns people. In simple terms, this phrase meant that if a townsman was attacked by a cowboy/gambler/etc. he was legally allowed to defend himself, even if it meant the death of his attacker. In cattle towns where violence was a given, a man's ability to defend himself became synonymous with his honor, dignity, pride, integrity, and courage. You could even go as far as to say that a man was legally and morally obligated to defend himself, his family, his property, and his possessions against an attacker.

But what does this phrase have to do with being an American? I'll tell you. The backbone of this phrase is self-defense. But the keystone of this ideology is courage. But lets take this one step at a time.

Self-defense. America is unique, at least in terms of our justice system, for two very important reasons: the "innocent before proven guilty" guarantee, and the legality of self-defense. Claiming self-defense has quite literally allowed people to get away with murder in our country. But putting aside the somewhat pig-headed and selfish uses of the term, we find that the idea of self-defense is a very American, and very patriotic concept.

Self-defense does not necessarily mean against a physical attack. The American Revolution began with an economic and political attack by England on the 13 Colonies. The Americans defended their rights, defended their beliefs and values. When the British began to tax the colonies unfairly (and by our standards, unlawfully), the patriots took to Boston Harbor, retaliating by dumping tea during the event known as the Boston Tea Party, all in the name of self defense. Patriots boycotted items sent from England, refusing to buy taxed goods, and purchased only goods grown on American soil. Patriots protested in their newspapers, expressing their views through the commonly used phrase "taxation without representation." All this, they did in the name of self-defense. They were defending their rights, defending their home, defending their freedom. Things we take very much for granted today.

And the American Revolution is not the only moment in our history where we have fought to defend ourselves, our families, our freedoms, and our beliefs. Cases can be made about the Civil War, both World Wars, the Vietnam and Korean Wars, not to mention the Underground Railroad, the abolition movement, Women's Rights movements, and countless other events, people, wars, and movements.

Courage is, as I previously stated, the cornerstone for the phrase "No Duty to Retreat." Just to help make this connection, in the West, a man was considered couragous if he was able to defend himself from an attack. If a man defended himself, he showed courage in the face of danger, and a loyalty to his family, his beliefs, and his country. Today, we still consider self-defense the pinnacle of courage. Our soldiers, who fight for our freedoms and their own every day, are the epitome of courage. No one in their right mind would dare to say otherwise. Courage has always been a positive charactaristic of the American experience.

Think of the people who we celebrate today, either in a history class, or on holidays. The very first, George Washington, has his own holiday. We celebrate him because we admire his courage both on the battlefield, and in office. He led Patriot troops victoriously against the British, and won the war. He pushed his men through the terrible conditions of Valley Forge. He was a man of courage, honor, dignity, and loyalty; all reasons why we celebrate and honor him today.

Fast forward a bit to Martin Luther King Jr. MLKJr. is recognized as one of the bravest men in Civil Rights History. He knew very well he was putting his life on the line when he spoke publicly against segregation and racism. He himself predicted his death, saying that it didn't matter. In his famous speech he says;

"Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will."

In this short passage, MLKJr. tells the world that he knows he will die soon, but he doesn't care, all he cares about is completeing his dream of a world without segregation. We honor Martin Luther King Jr. because of his courage in the face of danger, his courage in the face of death. We celebrate and honor his success, his determination, and his bravery; all qualities that Americans value in others, and wish to find in themselves.

There are thousands upon thousands of people who exemplify the quality of courage and bravery. But these two will suffice. Two of the most celebrated and respected men in our country's history are also two of the most couragous. What does that tell us about what it means to be an American.

We look at these men, and we see the exemplary American. We feel pride that such amazing and accomplished people came from our great country, served our great nation. I personally feel that these men are perfect examples of celebrated and honored Americans. Men who all Americans aspire to be. We see in them the perfection of the American Dream, and the American tradition. We see in the American Revolution, the values that make this great country unique.

No Duty to Retreat is one of many phrases/ideologies that Americans adhere to. We all, in some way or another, believe in our right to defend our beliefs, and to express ourselves freely. And while courage is not the only great American trait, it is one of the most important and defining characteristics of our nation, and one that helps us to define what it means to be an American; courage.

Next topic, we'll continue with American ideology. I'll be discussing Thomas Paine, both the pros and cons of his writings, and possibly some thoughts on the beneficial/detrimental nature of propoganda in the United States.

As always, leave any and all comments. I'd love to hear from you. If you have a topic suggestion you'd like for me to research and express my opinions on, just leave a comment. All opinions are welcome; remember it doesn't matter if you agree with me or not, all that matters is that you are expressing your own opinions. And if you find any fault with my information, please let me know

Are we Americans or WHAT???

Okay, so I know I'm not the only one with an issue about what I've been seeing in the news recently. Quite honestly, enough is enough. We are American's. We need to stand up to defend our freedom, our beliefs, and our values. Nobody wants the Federal Reserve to become Big Brother. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that Obama is becoming Big Brother. Sorry, but I sure as hell am not going to take this lying down. Let's go over some key points, so we can settle what's been going on here.

1. National Healthcare - Nobody wants this. You may think you do, but you don't. National Healthcare would mean taking the choice out of our security. Healthcare is a commodity, not a right. Nowhere in our Constitution does it say that our government has control over healthcare. Our Constitution also doesn't mention healthcare as right. If we make Healthcare a government service, the government essentially has a monopoly on our security, on our health, on our lives. Not only is this not okay, this is wrong. This is illegal. No way around this guys, sorry.

2. Corporate Bailouts - I don't know about you, but we the tax payers didn't sign up for this. We pay our taxes in good faith, only to have our alleged representatives give it away to companies that have cheated more than their fair share of our country's GDP. Sorry, but America is a capitalist country, and proud of it. You sink or swim on your own terms, it's not for the government to bail you our when you screw up. You don't see the government bailing out Joe the Plumber, or other small business men who are just as affected by the economic blow out. No matter how you spin this, corporate bailouts are irresponsible and unjustifiable.

3. ACORN - Not much I can say about this that Glenn Beck hasn't already said. Unfortunately, the country just isn't getting it about this organization. They have committed voter fraud. Anyone with half a brain can see this. But on top of the voter fraud, yes there is something worse, ACORN is taking money from us and using it to manipulate our government, and control our country. Anyone who wants to learn more about the atrocities committed by ACORN should head to glennbeck.com. Very reliable source.

4. Media Bias - with the exception of FoxNews and the Weather Channel, all media outlets have a heavily liberal bias. Anyone who is interested in getting the facts won't find them at ABC or NBC. The only honest place left is Fox. Again, not much to say on this subject either. It is what it is, and the only thing we can do about it is realize what's going on, and not allow the self-serving pathetic excuses for news outlets influence our opinions and actions.

5. Obama - I don't even know what to say about this. I'm going to leave it up to you guys. But really, anyone whose paying attention to the current political climate can see that Obama is a socialist. His talk about transparency is just that; transparent. Substanceless. Completely translucent. And a load a crap. He made a promise for change, and he's certainly come through. Although no American in their right mind would support his form of "change."

Okay guys, I'd love to hear what you all think. Those of you who disagree, I do hope you post. Because this is America, and because I'm a true American, I do respect everyone's opinion. Just because I may disagree with you, doesn't mean you opinion isn't valued.

Topic for next blog: What does it mean to be an American? Specifically, I will be discussing the phrase "No Duty to Retreat" and the "Crises" essays by Thomas Paine, and their relation to today's Americans. Anyone with an opinion on this topic is welcome to comment. Thanks for your opinions!!!
